Green glass, wall to wall

Three VERTEX split-panel doors, each with a wide band of mirror between panels of soft green glass, across the full width of the bedroom. The mirror throws daylight from the window back into the room. Green is not one of our five stocked colours. It was ordered in, as many colours can be.

Two mirror doors in a recess

The simplest of the five. Full-height silver mirror doors on a silver FORM frame, fitted floor to ceiling into a recess. In a small room it adds storage and light at the same time.
Made for the way Stafford homes are built
A wardrobe that suits a new build at Burleyfields will not suit a tall-ceilinged house near Rowley Park. So we start with the room, not a catalogue.
Rowley Park and the town centre
Older houses
High ceilings, chimney breasts and alcoves that are rarely the same width twice. We build into each alcove and shape the end panels to walls that are not quite square. Hinged shaker doors look at home here.
Weeping Cross, Baswich, Wildwood, Holmcroft
Family estates
Good-sized main bedrooms, and often a box room where the stairs cut into one corner. A wardrobe built over and around that corner turns it into storage instead of a place the bed will not fit.

New builds
Clean, plain walls and no storage at all. Sliding wardrobes suit the tighter bedrooms, because no door swings out over the bed.
Sliding wardrobes, hinged doors and four ranges to choose from
Start with the doors. Sliding wardrobe doors need no clear floor in front, so they suit smaller bedrooms and full-width runs. Hinged doors open a whole section at once and sit well in alcoves. With a spare room, a walk-in wardrobe or dressing room may be the better use of it. Whichever you choose, it is built as a fitted wardrobe: floor to ceiling, wall to wall, no gaps.
